SHOULD I PRINT MY TICKET? 

Yes, please print your ticket prior to attending the festival.

 

I LOST MY TICKET, WHAT DO I DO?

In the case of a lost tickets, please check back through your emails to find the confirmation of purchase or login to the TryBooking app where your ticket will be store electronically. The electronic version (or E-ticket) will also be accepted on arrival.

 

I WANT TO CHANGE/CANCEL MY TICKET

Once a sale is finalised, there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges, except as provided for in the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice for event ticketing

 

REFUNDS

Festival Organisers will not refund, provide an exchange or replace any tickets where:

  • The ticket holder is unable or chooses not to attend the event.
  • The ticket is stolen or lost.
  • The ticket has been duplicated.
  • The ticket holder has been refused entry or evicted from the grounds in any of the circumstances outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
  • The event does not meet his or her expectations.
  • The incorrect ticket type has been purchased.
  • Should unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond the Bamba Gii Festival’s control cause disruption or abandonment of the remainder of the Event.
  • Should you choose not to attend on the occasion of inclement weather – this is an all-weather event

*On the occasion of unforeseen and safety-threatening circumstances, prior to the start of the Event, event organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Event, with a refund of the amount of the ticket less administration costs.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Before making your way to the festival, check to see if you have the following:

  • Please bring a form of ID with you
  • Your official Bamba Gii Festival ticket (Please PRINT or have available via the TryBooking App).
  • Chairs, picnic rugs.
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Sun protection – sunscreen and hats are a must!

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Parking is available onsite at the Festival.

 

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, there will be food and drink available for purchase on festival grounds.

 

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Pets are not allowed at the festival, so we ask you to please leave your fur babies at home for this one!

 

CAN I USE CASH?

Yes, cash can be used at the festival. However, we do advise you bring alternative payment methods such as a bank card for any purchases you might make on the festival grounds.

 

IS THERE AN ATM ONSITE?

No, there is not an ATM available onsite.

 

DO I NEED TO BRING A CHAIR?

 Yes. To ensure you have a comfortable day and to assist us to meet social distancing rules, we do ask that patrons bring their own chairs and/or picnic rugs.

 

CAN I BRING FOOD AND ALCOHOL?

Water bottles are permitted provided they are store sealed prior to entry. Infant and toddler food may be brought onsite provided it is nut and allergen free. 

The festival will have food and beverages on sale so no other food may be brought into the festival.

This event is drug and alcohol free.  Any banned items will be removed from the festival and any patrons bringing in banned items may also be removed from the event.

 

WHAT IF THE FESTIVAL IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19?

The festival will remain on sale unless State or Federal Government Health regulations determine that it is to be cancelled.

In the event of cancellation, you will be entitled to a full refund. This refund will be processed by Try Booking and the funds credited to the card used to make the purchase. If the event is to be rescheduled, you have the option of transferring your tickets to the new performance date(s) or requesting a refund.

 

IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL DUE TO BORDER CLOSUES, CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND?

If state or territory border closures are in place in the immediate lead up to or during the scheduled festival dates and this will prevent you from attending, you will be entitled to a refund.

 

IF I AM SICK OR HAVE COLD AND FLU SYMTPOMS, CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND?

Due to the current pandemic and state health guidelines, we do ask if patrons are unwell or have cold or flu symptoms to please not attend the event.  We ask you to please contact us a as early as you can so we can arrange a refund for you.  Should you request a refund for this reason, you will be asked to provide an official medical certificate in order to claim your refund.

 

WHERE CAN I STAY FOR THE FESTIVAL?

Roma is located in the Maranoa region and an important node in the South-West Queensland Cultural Trail.

There are a variety of accommodation options within Roma and surrounding townships including hotel and motel accommodation, caravan and camping facilities, farm stays and bush retreats.

WHAT COVID SAFE MEASURES WILL YOU HAVE IN PLACE?

Patrons will be asked to check in via the official Queensland Government COVID safe app upon entry to the festival. Hand sanitiser will also be readily available throughout the festival.

Our event will be following a strict Covid Safe Event Plan which will cover off appropriate cleaning, staffing and layout measures to ensure maximum safety for all patrons.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND A MORE DETAILED PROGRAM?

A more detailed program including timings will be available four weeks out from the event via our website.  A copy of the program will also be emailed to all patrons who have already purchased tickets.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

In the very rare chance of rain, the festival will make a decision as to the safety of patrons. Please note though that this is an outdoor event and no refunds will be provided for inclement weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat or rain events.

 

CAN I SMOKE IN THE FESTIVAL?

Smoking is only permitted in the Festival’s Designated Smoking Area. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with its location via the Festival Map upon entry.

 

ARE PASSOUTS ALLOWED?

You may enter and exit the festival site provided you keep your ticket with you for scanning upon re-entry.  Please note that our barcoded ticketing system will be able to identify duplicate or fraudulent tickets upon scanning so please ensure that you only purchase tickets from our official website.

 

HOW DO I GET TO THE FESTIVAL?

There are many travel options available to patrons attending this event:

  • By air: QantasLink operate regular daily passenger services between Brisbane, Roma and Charleville
  • By rail: The Westlander operates between Brisbane and Charleville stopping at various destinations in our region, including Yuleba, Wallumbilla, Roma and Mitchell.
  • By road: Located along the Warrego Highway, Roma is easily accessible by road and welcomes caravan and campers. The region is also serviced by several car rental companies with vehicles available for collection at Roma Airport and Roma Town Centre. Bus Queensland also offer regular coach services from Brisbane to Charleville, stopping in our region. 

CAN I PARK AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, there is parking available outside the festival grounds. 

 

ARE THERE PUBLIC RESTROOMS? 

Yes. There are multiple public restrooms available to patrons.
